MANILA, Philippines – A lone bettor from Luzon has won the whopping P741.176 million jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) disclosed today.
In a radio interview, PCSO head Margarita Juico said the lucky bettor placed the 11-16-42-47-31-37 winning combination at a lotto outlet in Olongapo City in Zambales.
She said in order to claim the prize, the country’s biggest jackpot in the history of lotto, the winning better should sign his or her name at the back of the ticket and bring it to the PCSO’s treasury section at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in Pasay City.
The winner can also send a lawyer with a special power of attorney to represent him or her for security reasons.
He or she can deposit the check at a Land Bank of the Philippines inside the PCSO building, Juico said. - By Dennis Carcamo (Philstar News Service, www.philstar.com)
